Description
Slows bowel movement to reduce the frequency of loose stools. Keep drinking fluids to replace losses.
Ingredients / details
Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg per capsule; contains lactose.
How to use
Age 12+: 2 capsules first, then 1 after each loose stool; maximum 6 in 24 hours. Stop and seek advice if not improving within 48 hours.
Safety / warnings
Not for under-12s. Do not use with bloody stools and fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea or abdominal swelling. Ask a pharmacist about other medicines or pregnancy.
