How to Take Wegovy Tablets

Because absorption depends on precise stomach conditions, how you take the tablet matters enormously. This is not optional guidance.

Take one tablet first thing in the morning, fasted
Swallow whole with no more than half a glass of plain water
Do not split, crush or chew the tablet
Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else, or taking any other oral medicines

How to Take Wegovy Tablets

• Take one Wegovy tablet once daily, exactly as prescribed by your clinician.

• Take the tablet first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

• Swallow the tablet whole with up to 120 mL (approximately half a glass) of plain water. Do not crush, split or chew the tablet.

• Do not eat, drink (other than plain water) or take any other oral medicines for at least 30 minutes after taking your tablet. This helps ensure the medicine is absorbed properly.

• Try to take your tablet at the same time each day to establish a routine.
