About Wegovy Tablets
Wegovy tablets are a prescription-only medicine designed to support weight loss and long-term weight management in adults living with obesity or overweight with weight-related health conditions. They contain semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that works by helping regulate appetite, increasing feelings of fullness and reducing hunger, making it easier to maintain a calorie-controlled diet.
Taken once daily as prescribed, Wegovy tablets provide a convenient oral treatment option for suitable patients. For the best results, treatment should be combined with a healthy diet, regular physical activity and ongoing lifestyle changes.
Why Choose Wegovy Tablets?
Wegovy tablets may offer several benefits for people looking for a convenient weight management treatment.
• Effective Weight Loss: Clinical studies have shown that semaglutide can help patients achieve significant weight loss when combined with healthy lifestyle changes.
• Convenient Daily Tablet: An oral treatment option for those who prefer not to use injectable medication.
• Gradual Dose Escalation: Treatment begins at a lower dose and is increased gradually to help improve tolerability and reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
• Improved Health Outcomes: Weight loss may help improve blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar control and overall health in appropriate patients.
This medication may be suitable for adults with a BMI of 30 kg/m² or above, or 27 kg/m² or above with at least one weight-related medical condition, following assessment by one of our clinicians. Wegovy tablets should only be used under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional and are not intended to be used alongside other prescription weight loss medicines unless specifically advised.
Important Information
Wegovy tablets are prescription-only and require approval following a clinical assessment. It is important to take the medication exactly as prescribed and attend any recommended follow-up reviews. Regular monitoring of your progress helps ensure treatment remains safe, appropriate and effective.
