Superdrug Online Doctor is not run by Superdrug’s own pharmacy team. It is operated by Health Bridge Limited, trading as ZAVA, under company number 07392646.
That same company, under that same number, also operates Asda Online Doctor. Both cite the same CQC registration. Same operator, same clinical model, same doctors.
The prices are not the same.

We are not suggesting anything improper — different retail partners negotiate different terms, and that is ordinary commerce. The point is simply that the brand on the website does not tell you what you are paying. If you were choosing between these two on the strength of the name above the door, you would be paying up to £40 a month more for an identical service. It is worth checking the actual number at your actual dose, wherever you order.

Weight Loss Tablets: Superdrug vs Slinic
Both providers dispense both licensed once-daily GLP-1 tablets. Superdrug publishes Foundayo from £99 a month against Slinic’s £83 — a £16 difference at the starting dose. Slinic also publishes a price at every strength rather than a starting figure alone.
Foundayo® (orforglipron) — from £83 a month
The first once-daily GLP-1 tablet of its kind to reach UK pharmacies, authorised by the MHRA in August 2026. Taken as a film-coated tablet with no food or water timing restrictions. Treatment starts at 0.8mg once daily, then increases to 2.5mg after at least 30 days, with each subsequent increase also after a minimum of 30 days where clinically appropriate and tolerated.

Slinic publishes a price at every strength: £92 at 1.5mg, £104 at 4mg, £119 at 9mg and £164 at 25mg. Worth saying plainly: on prescribing thresholds these two are aligned. Superdrug prescribes within the licensed BMI criteria, as Slinic does — unlike some providers that will consider prescribing from BMI 25 off-label. Both Mounjaro and Wegovy are MHRA-licensed regardless of which regulated UK pharmacy dispenses them; the licence sits with the medicine, not the retailer. The Verdict
Let us be clear about what is not in dispute: both are legitimate, GPhC-registered UK services dispensing the identical, genuine, MHRA-authorised medicine from the same manufacturers. Superdrug Online Doctor, run by ZAVA, is CQC registered with GMC-registered doctors, prescribes within the licensed BMI thresholds, and offers something Slinic cannot — next-day collection and pharmacist support across more than 175 high-street branches.
On price, though, the gap is wide. Slinic is lower at every Mounjaro dose by £50 to £77 a pen — £600 to £924 across a year — and remains lower at every dose once the £4.99 delivery is added. Slinic’s standard price is also below Superdrug’s discounted new-patient rate, which only applies to a first order anyway. On Wegovy and Foundayo, Slinic is £16 lower at the starting dose of each.
The most useful thing on this page may be the operator point. Superdrug Online Doctor and Asda Online Doctor are run by the same company, and yet Superdrug’s Mounjaro starting dose is £30.03 more. Whichever provider you choose, check the number at your dose rather than trusting the brand on the website.
