Asda Online Doctor publishes one price per dose for a four-week supply, with no plan to choose and no subscription: £148.97 at 2.5mg, £188.97 at 5mg, £248.97 at 7.5mg, £278.97 at 10mg, £287.47 at 12.5mg and £298.97 at 15mg.
Credit where it is due: that is a genuinely competitive structure. There is no introductory rate that expires, no subscription tier, and the number you see is the number you pay including delivery. Among the supermarket and high-street names, Asda is one of the sharper offers.
Slinic charges £129 to £267 per pen. That is lower at every dose, and stays lower once the £4.99 delivery is added.

Weight Loss Tablets: Asda vs Slinic

Foundayo® (orforglipron) — from £83 a month
The first once-daily GLP-1 tablet of its kind to reach UK pharmacies, authorised by the MHRA in August 2026. Taken as a film-coated tablet with no food or water timing restrictions. Treatment starts at 0.8mg once daily, then increases to 2.5mg after at least 30 days, with each subsequent increase also after a minimum of 30 days where clinically appropriate and tolerated.

Both are properly regulated, and Asda’s arrangement is worth understanding. Asda Online Doctor is operated by Health Bridge Limited, trading as ZAVA, under contract with Asda — it is not run by Asda’s in-store pharmacies. It is a GPhC-registered pharmacy, number 1091675, with GMC-registered doctors and a named Medical Director, and ZAVA is CQC inspected and rated good. A point worth making plainly: on prescribing thresholds these two are aligned. Asda Online Doctor prescribes within the licensed BMI criteria, as Slinic does — unlike some providers that will consider prescribing from BMI 25 off-label. Let us be clear about what is not in dispute: both are legitimate, GPhC-registered UK services dispensing the identical, genuine, MHRA-authorised medicine from the same manufacturers. Asda Online Doctor, run by ZAVA, is a well-built service — CQC rated good, all-inclusive pricing, national click and collect, and prescribing within the licensed BMI thresholds. It is one of the more honest price structures on the market, and this page does not pretend otherwise.
On Mounjaro, Slinic is lower at every published dose, by £20.97 to £54.97 a pen — £252 to £660 across a year — and remains lower at every dose once our £4.99 delivery is added. On Wegovy, Slinic is cheaper at four of the five doses listed, by up to £51.97 at 1mg, while Asda is cheaper at the 2.4mg maintenance dose.
